How to book
Select the home of your choice and check the availability calendar for your holiday dates.
Using the enquiry link, send us an email, with your preferred dates and for how many people. We will send you further details of your chosen house and the area, and will generate an invoice through Paypal for a 20% deposit. Once we have received your deposit we will send you a confirmation of booking.
Eight weeks before your holiday, we will send a further Paypal invoice for the balance of the payment.
Payment methods
Due to fraud attempts, we can only accept payment by Paypal or bank transfer. Paypal is a free and simple method of transferring money, especially with different currencies. On receipt of your confirmation, we will generate an automatic invoice through Paypal, which will give you full details of how to use the system.
If you are unable to use this method of payment, please contact us and we can make alternative arrangements. Please note that we only accept personal or bankers' cheques from people who are known to us.
Cancellation and refunds
Should you find it necessary to cancel your reservation, we make the following refunds:
Up to 8 weeks – no cancellation charge.
4-8 weeks – 50% of the rate refunded.
2-4 weeks – 25% of rate refunded.
Less than 2 weeks – no refund.
Security deposit
To safeguard our owners, we ask for a security deposit on arrival. We normally ask for Euro 300 in cash but this can vary on our larger properties. Please see the Notes sections on the individual property pages.
On your day of departure, one of our representatives will arrive within half an hour of your departure time, and will check the house for any damage. Everyday breakages like plates and glasses are accepted, but if a larger or more expensive item is broken, then we will normally speak with the owner of the property for direction and we will hold the security deposit. After you arrive back in the UK the owner will make arrangements for the repayment direct with you.
Beginning of your stay
Your chosen house will normally be available to you from 4pm. This gives us time to check an inventory and make sure the house is clean for your arrival.
At the start of your stay we will greet you and take you to the house, show you around and hand over the keys on receipt of the security deposit.
You can call us at any time during your stay for any advice or problems you may have.
We offer bed linen at Euro 15 per bed per week, and towels at Euro 8 per person per week, with some of our properties, these are included as part of the package. If you decide to use your own bed linen, please remember that French pillows are normally square.
We can arrange to get some shopping for you, so that when you arrive it is waiting in the house. All you need to do is to email us your list at least 3 days before you arrive. There is no charge for this service, just the price of the items bought.
On request we can also arrange for a meal to be waiting for you. We use Mira P.S. which is a private local company and they can supply a meal for you delivered to the house on your arrival, or at any time during your stay. On the catering page of this site you will find example menus, but if you have other preferences, please let us know.
At any time you can request one of our menus, please give us as much time as you can, but a minimum of a couple of days notice in order for us to get the ingredients, which are all freshly bought. There is also no problem with supplying special meals.
End of stay
We expect our guests to be ready to leave at the latest by 10am on the departure day. We will normally come about half an hour before your departure and make a quick inspection. We will then return your security deposit and take the keys.
You are expected to leave the house in the same condition as you find it in terms of cleanliness and tidiness, but if you prefer we can arrange to do your end of stay clean for you. Please see individual charges on the house details page. We can also arrange for a mid week clean, so please ask if you would like this.
